Discovering Letchworth Baptist Church

Letchworth Baptist Church is an independent church and is a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). In 2010 we celebrated our 80th anniversary.

Our pastors are Dr Derek Moore-Crispin and the Reverend David Chan. David’s ministry is amongst the Chinese people in Letchworth and beyond and he is also a Chaplain at the Yarl’s Wood Immigration Detention Centre. Derek is also a Chaplain at Moggerhanger Park in Bedfordshire, the home of various ministries including The Family Matters Institute and The Centre for Contemporary Ministry.

Because of our postal address Letchworth Baptist Church is often referred to as “West View”. We are located at the junction of West View and  Broadwater Avenue, Letchworth Garden City, Herts, SG6 3HJ.

If you stand  in Broadway Gardens by the Water Fountain and face away from the town centre,  West View is on your right hand side. If you walk down West View for 150m you will find us on the right hand side
