Tuesdays

Tuesdays

Tuesdays is the normal time for mid-week fellowship and prayer.

Prayer Meetings

Prayer meetings are held at the church on the first, third and fifth Tuesdays in the month, normally between 8pm and 9pm.  The pattern of the meeting varies as need demands but tends to comprise three parts:

  • A brief time of meditation on a Bible passage followed by praise.
  • Prayer for local, national, global or strategic issues.
  • Prayer for specific needs within the fellowship.

Home Groups

Once a month on the second Tuesday the church meets in home groups, the aim of which is to foster a deepening in fellowship as we get to know each other better and develop our sense of belong to both the Father’s Family and the Body of Christ.

In addition to enjoying each other’s fellowship the groups engage praise, a common Bible study and prayer.

The meetings begin at 8pm and typically close around 10pm

Potter’s HandPotters-Hand informal worship and prayer

Potters Hand is held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the church starting at 8pm and normally closing between 9:30pm and 10:00pm.

Our goal is to spend time in God’s presence in a less structured way to help us become more Christ-like members of the Kingdom of God.  It provides an opportunity to explore praise, prayer, testimony and ministry as well as listen to God. It normally comprises a time of worship and the opportunity to minister to others by sharing a testimony or something that the Lord has “laid on a heart”. Often the Lord speaks into the meeting which provides a focus for prayer.

The objective is that as a people we become more devoted to God and more faithful in exercising a Spirit led life and ministry.
